Active Bethel Community Board Meeting Minutes In person Meeting at Asbury United Methodist Church June 19th, 2024 7:00–8:30pm (PST)

7:04:  Report on Bethel area Plan - Tai, Lin, Jeremy, Ed.

Spoke on Livable Communities Academy - 8 week course.  Tai and Lin to follow up on next meeting regarding Bethel Area Planning.

Lin passed around to ABC board folder regarding Livable Communities details which are designed to be supportive of community members young and old.

7:14:  Debriefing of We Are Bethel celebration discussion by ABC board- spoke about possible updates/suggestions for next year’s event.

- Vendor parking lanes to be put in place

- Tables and Chairs to be near food area

- Trash/Recycle bins to be placed throughout event area and food court

- Porta Potties in addition to bathrooms at Peterson Barn

- Improve communication pathways between Petersen Barn staff and ABC for amenities, parking, etc.

- ABC volunteers to arrive early to help with checklist for set up and closing down

- Tiered approach for vendors to arrive to help ensure volunteer(s) are able to help all

- Dedicated MC for entertainment
